When we adopted the 8 month old kitten before we got Fry (ended up taking him back because he was wired and wild) I wasn't getting any sleep because of him and just got so fed up I started crying in the bed and Brock ran over and hopped next to me and was headbutting my face. He is just a very affectionate and understanding cat. Very thankful to have him.
That's a fantastic cat, for sure. Sounds like the type of cat that would make a good therapy cat, empathic. I can totally understand being upset with a kitten that just won't settle. That's a level of frantic energy that very few could manage to handle!
I adopted him right after I lose my other cat Joey hoping to find another cat who would sleep with me in bed cause it helps with anxiety and from day one Brock did. He's FIV positive and I wanted to adopt a cat that was likely not to be adopted and there he was. I am glad I got him.
Yeah, I'm sure he found a good home, he sounds sweet, but cats like that definitely need someone high energy to wear them down, so totally understand why it was so difficult! I'm glad you had Brock, though, what a great cat
Certain strains of weed will bring on anxiety which can lead to a panic attack. I can't remember which ones. I only smoked a handful of times in my younger years and either felt nothing or had a panic attack.
Yeah covid has made stress worse for a lot of people. I basically lived under a rock prior to it so not much changed in my life and I was able to adapt to the changes easily but for people who are used to going out everywhere and doing things, it had to be extremely stressful.
