The Official Pro Wrestling Thread

Oh yeah. Loved it. I love violence in my wrestling haha. Plus my girl Toni won her match, my other girl Athena won as well. Amazing birthday weekend. Evolution last night was good also, but the booking of some matches i didn't care for haha.
Jonathan is insane (Moxly). Part of me thinks he is addicted to pain and gets an adrenaline rush from it and the perk of being a wrestling is that he entertains people with it. I know he wanted to do more of this stuff in WWE but they are more sanitized because of the larger child audience.

Jay mentioned Cena having a very bloody fight but thought it was later. I never remembered seeing it. It was cause it happened in 2005. I didn't start watching again until 2009. This was probably one of their most bloody moments I would imagine. WWE don't even have the video showing the blood. They cut it down. It is hard to find videos or images of it now.

Bruh, imagine having a great match going only to ruin it. WWE did.

Secret Deathmatch fan, I see? How was the Okada and Omega match?
It was pretty good. Them two always kill it with each other.

I think if I was to watch a death match not knowing the story, I hate it. But knowing the story and the build and everything with it. I love them. Like when I use to watch random ones with a friend it's like this is dumb. Because I didn't understand it haha.

Gotcha

And that is fair. Nothing wrong with that

I hate the PG era so much. I stopped watching many many years ago (probably around 2005) due to military duty. But then I'd pop in every now and then over the next several years.

Shit just doesn't hit as hard as it used to. Now I only read about it in the news and watch clips, occasionally.

I stopped watching as a kid shortly after Bret Hart quit. Not sure what year that was. Started watching again in 2009, stopped in 2014. So I missed the entire attitude era lol

For me, I watched when I was kid. Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Undertaker, Doink the Clown, Bambam Bigelow. Then stopped watching until the end of middle school before I picked it up again during the attitude era. And that's what hooked me. Stone Cold, Undertaker (still), Kane, Mankind, Triple H, The Crock.... great time to be a wrestling fan.
