Apple might be buying Disney in the near future...

This is speculation and rumor, nothing is set in motion as of yet. It would appear though that Disney continuing to bleed money is making it more and more likely that it will be sold off. There are very few companies larger than Disney that could afford to buy it or would want to venture into that market but it would seem that Apple, a 3 trillion dollar company, may be the one to buy it. There are rumors of it being sold off to some middle eastern business tycoon as well but those have seemed to fizzle out.

I don't know what Disney would even look like under Apple. I don't know if they could even save it at this point. The people involved at Disney seem hellbent on ruining everything they own too. It would make more sense to sell off fractions of it. Like selling Star Wars for example. They have done it no favors since buying it.

I had a semi-reply to this typed up that did point out that Pixar made its best movies at the very start when Steve Jobs was running the show.

But I think an Apple/Disney buyout today would just be the absolute worst pile of crap ever.

I can't see them changing anything. It would probably just get worse.

Oh yeah. Disney+ will double in price (or become a very tiered system), every slight copyright claim will become twice as litigious... it's not going to be good.

All these big corporations are just making everything worse for the world. Either with stupid ideas or stupid spending, mostly both though.

Yeah, just imagine Apple working on Star Wars instead of Disney. It would actually be better off. LOL.
