It really depends because as the saying goes "Don't shit where you eat!"
I would be a hypocrite to totally rule it out since I met my wife at a job we used to work together. It's just if things go south it could get ugly.
Agreed, it's iffy at best. Not out of the question, but if it goes wrong, it can go REALLY wrong!
What worked for me and my wife was that we understood we had a mutual affection for one another and agreed to keep the relationship top secret from everyone at work. This way we would be able to avoid judgment or any childish comments. It worked out for us but it's a dangerous game to play.
Every good hot dog salesman needs a good bu...ya' know what? I'm not even going to finish that one, it's too awful...
In my younger years, I've dipped in the company ink a few times. I don't recommend it, but sometimes things just happen. Can and does make things awkward if/when things don't work out.
My policy is always you don't dip your pen in company ink, but that's based on the consequences of failure, and I don't really think you should make decisions solely on the worst case scenarios, nor should you enter relationships with the expectations that they'll fail and you'll have to endure the resulting awkwardness. It's definitely up to the individual to decide if the person is worth the risk, and if they are, I think it's okay to go for it, even if I wouldn't. Just keep in mind that if things go *really* bad you might have to get a new job lol.

Was it a pat on the shoulder? Rub of the back? Squeeze of some sort? Different touches can mean different things, she might have been giving you encouragement or offering far more.
Hmm...well that could be interpreted in different ways, as well, but usually rubbing against you is a good sign.
Are we talking between the shoulders and the waist or below the waist? What was touching what? Did you go nut to butt? Ass to ass? We need explicit details!
That's definitely lady body language for "I'm interested." Especially if she's gently brushing up against you. If it was an accident it would have happened once maybe twice and she would have bumped you. No, this is deliberate, but play it cool. Don't let on that you're accepting of her behavior by chatting her up or anything. Just give her little things like a little smile here and there. She will be fawning over you before you know it.
