China has conducted testing on its army in the hope of creating biologically enhanced soldiers, according to the top intelligence official in the US.

John Ratcliffe, who has served as Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence since May, made the claims in a newspaper editorial, where he warned that China “poses the greatest threat to America today”.

Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Ratcliffe said: “The intelligence is clear: Beijing intends to dominate the US and the rest of the planet economically, militarily and technologically. Many of China’s major public initiatives and prominent companies offer only a layer of camouflage to the activities of the Chinese Communist Party.”

Hollywood funds them and people in our own government do. Biden's family gave Pooh Bear millions, for God only knows what. You know Bezos is in bed with them too for the cheap labor.

Just about every major production company is in bed with China in one way or another. Hard not to be when they'll produce for a fraction of everywhere else. Scary how little they care for their own people enough to not even ensure they're working for a livable wage in fair conditions.

I feel bad for their people. I know some families who movies here, very nice people who own Chinese restaurants. They hated it there. They are trying to get their families out. Hong Kong was a clear message to the rest of the world what they stand for. Their government is sick, careless, and immoral. They want to destroy the world and control it.

Typical communists, suppression of dissent and attempting desperately to polish up their image for the cameras. We're all super happy here, look at these smiling faces that we totally didn't threaten with public floggings if they should fail to look happy!

What's sad is how isolated many Chinese immigrants become because their global language is Mandarin, and for good reason, but outside of China English is the global language and they quickly find themselves unable to communicate and unsure of how to educate themselves. Those that find a Chinatown to move to can integrate somewhat, but even there it's not like they have much of a chance to integrate with the wider society. It's precisely how the government wants to keep their people separate. If/When they do finally learn English they can make a bit more of a life for themselves, but how isolating must that feel, to know a language that is as dominant as Mandarin is just non-existent outside of the country you're fleeing, bar small speaking communities. Must make many of them regret immigrating.

I know English is not easy to learn but I wish there were programs for people looking to come here to get out of that hell where they can learn it for free and classes to help them learn about our government system. It isn't perfect but it is far from China's.

Yep, even finding those classes has to be difficult when attempting to navigate the language barrier at the very start, it's no wonder culture shock rocks some people ridiculously hard. At least in most other countries they give people a basic understanding of the English language because of how global it has become. Not China, though, the common people don't get that education.

I'd say there's a good reason China is the only country that gets along moderately well with North Korea, they're the template the North Koreans follow.
