America has a freedom attitude most of the world doesn't have. The values of which aren't bad or wrong, but it definitely lends itself more to selfishness of human natures.

Whereas Japan is incredibly collectivist, so they can accomplish more as a society. But that also is harshly detrimental to the individual.

There's only one society that can and will work (HINT: not communism) and we aren't going to see that until heaven meets earth.

In a very very very myopic view, there is some truth to that. The problem is Christian "communism" (for lack of better word) only works so long as it's Christ centred and in the church's best interests, and falls apart quickly as soon as a primary or secondary theological issue presents. Which is why the church in Acts worked great, but stopped being practiced after a few decades. It also helps that Christianity flourishes and actually works best when faced with persecution (see: China, Middle East, Africa, and North Korea).

The problem with actual communism is it very much isn't that.

And the common problem with any government or societal system at the end of the day is that humans are involved.
