Yeah it's definitely going on full steam. I snagged a pretty nice desktop for less than 1k because IBuyPower was doing Black Friday Month. Holy shit, this just keeps getting longer and longer!
Definitely seems like the deals this year are getting better and better as the time moves on. Wish I had a spare few hundred to splash around right now, there are plenty of deals I wouldn't mind picking up as I take more of a look around!

Not bad specs, shame it's not a Ryzen build, but 10th gen Intel should be good enough to see you through for a few years!
Yeah, it fits the bill for me for right now and what I can afford. I don't do any hardcore PC gaming anymore or video editing. I am interested in trying out some VR though.
VR definitely looks like it's gotten better in the last few years, which is staggering. I thought for sure it'd be like all of the other gimmicks and die off in a couple of years, but nope, still going strong! Some of the games look like real fun, too, so definitely worth a look.
I'm interested in Half-Life: Alyx primarily. I was such a huge Half-Life fan back in the day. I remember when the first game came out in the late 90's. Blew my freaking mind!
I hear you. I'm on the fence about it, because Half-Life has such a huge build up behind it, and they are great games, I just can't help but worry that it's going to be a huge let down simply because it'll be a solid game, but because it has the name Half-Life on it, it's going to need to be absolutely incredible to live up to that hype...
It occurred to me I never followed up on this. I have since been to a drive thru and am pleased to report this vehicle is not at perv height, my eyes were on hand and window ledge behind it, not womanly globules of jiggly goodness. It was a relief and a disappointment all at once, as I would now have to make a pervy effort to catch a glimpse. Downside is I went to in 'n out for some food, ordered two double doubles and two fries (not just for me!), got the double doubles...no fries. I called the support number they have listed, which is just a single centralized number for all of their locations, told them what happened and I got two gift cards on the way to me for two free meals. Nice.That is a fair call lol

I hear you on that one, been down that path a fair few times. Selling off things I don't need, finding cheap deals in stores to resell elsewhere and so on. It's not easy making money when you have none, but with a bit of ingenuity you can find ways to make a buck or two!

I went across the border today for a doctor's appointment. Got myself some Jack in the box and went to Costco. It was a pretty chill day.
Might as well keep going with my whole "and here's another part of my life I'll share with you all" saga. I have pretty bad legs, so much so that I've had a fair few operations on them in the past few months to shut down some of the veins in my legs to stop swelling, pain and recurrent infections. Guess what I just had done? Go on, guess! Give up? K, fine, it was yet another surgery...so I get the awesome post-operative swelling, sexy leg bandages, and a lovely hobble added to my gait for a few days. NOICE! Fourth surgery on this particular leg in the past couple of months, still more to go...yay? Here's my swollen leg in bandages! What's that? You don't know why I'm single, either?!? It's a real stumper, isn't it?Bonus: peep that sexy big toe with the toenail that was surgically permanently removed. Ruined my foot modelling career...

...and in keeping with the "Super Kami Guru shares too much of his life" files, I've just had yet another procedure on the same leg...yay! This one was very painful, they went in right down by the ankle and for whatever reason, everything down there is just a exceptionally sensitive, so...yay! Pic looks more or less the same as last time, but lucky you, you get to see that sexy leg and the toe that ruined my foot modelling career chances!
