Yep, and then you read up on the stories of people who forgot they bought bitcoin back then and suddenly rediscover their accounts to find that they're a lot better off than they were a few days ago...it's amazing how much money some people have been sitting on!
I am genuinely happy for people who made it from their investments and stuck it to the man.

Agreed, they took a gamble on something that was more or less a discredited idea at the time, invested in it, and got themselves a hell of a reward as a result. Same for a lot of the GameStop folks, they invested early, hoping they would be proven right, stuck to their plan and now some of them are cashing in millions. Great for them, bad for 'the man!'

Browsing the compendium of links for time wasting and I've found myself things I absolutely need in my life!

(boredom + holy hell do people know how to make some cool things out there = this post)

Let's get the obvious out of the way:

Things, all of the things!

Creative people are awesome! Anyone else stumbled across things that are just really cool? Also boredom scrolling...yay...

Yeah, even that's a bit steep. It's an amazing product, I can see people being all over it, but I'm not paying stupid money just because it's cool!
I am willing to pay a "cat obsession tax" and overpay for products but not that much. I mean I collect Japanese miniatures (cat ones) from blind boxes and they are like $12 to $20 a pop.

I wanted to do the same with video game miniatures (tiny little NES/Famicom, SNES, Mega Drive/Genesis, Saturn, etc. consoles) at one point, but can't really afford the prices, but I absolutely agree with willing to overpay to get things that speak to your interests. It's a fun thing to do and they're neat collection pieces! But you can't be exploitative like this...that's just outright silly pricing. Still an amazing product, but...nope...I'll just admire it through a monitor and say "wow that's cool!"

I bought a cat head pin not too long ago from Japan. Cost me $16 but it makes me happy. Jay buys my cat miniatures for gifts now since I like them so much. He thinks it is a waste of money but knows how much I like them. Got me one for my birthday, it is a cat holding a baguette lol

so that one restaurant screwed up and you curse off the whole brand? sheeee-iiit. Probably some dumb teen making a mistake.
I have a short fuse when it comes to messed up orders considering 90% of the time, its the case around here. If it was the wrong order and still warm, fine. If the wait was long but the food was good, fine. But we had to wait an hour, the food was cold, and the order was messed up. That was Jay's first experience of the place too and he don't want it anymore either lol

Yeah, fast food is not Ohio's strong suit I can tell you that much :cautious:

Certain places are fine (local places, Chick-fil-a, subway, etc.) but it seems like the national chains that hire nothing but teens who hate their jobs are the worst. Like yeah, working in fast food and restaurants can suck and be stressful but don't take it out on my damn food.

If I was anything like my username though I'd be in prison for arson by now. LOL :haha:
