Scripting done for Korin's Tower (wow, a single battle and two rooms to map; I hope I didn't strain myself).
Just need to write in the final showdown with Tao (nothing fancy there, just a script and a battle) and then I have to start mapping out the RRA headquarters.
Still not dead. Nearing the end of the next build. Got some very basic scripting for the RRHQ, working on building Baba's Palace and doing some basic scripting for that. Once that's completed, that will mark the end point of this build.
Just finished a mess of scripting for this final part at the RRHQ. Found a shortcut that should save time on some of these more complicated scenes with multiple characters.
In all honesty, I'd kind of forgotten the feeling of actually translating Dragon Ball to game. There is that slight rush translating the game to the environment.
I am so close to finishing the framework for this release; I am so excited.
All that's left to do is:
- tweak the scripting of this fight
- create the scripting for the Pilaf encounter (will likely re-use the map where Goku encounters Chi-Chi the first time)
- create the scripting for the Dragon summon (will be able to re-use the events from the first time the Dragon is summoned)
- create the final scene scripting for this section (where Goku bids farewell once more)
After that, playtesting, more tweaking and finally a release! It's so close!
I'm play-testing from the start and making a few QOL changes:
- Text references from "grampa" to "grandpa" (this seems to be inconsistent in either the show or manga... whatever I was using at the time)
- Fixing a few events to make sure they're efficient and running correctly
- Updating all the third-party plugins and core scripts to the latest
- Since learning a few tricks that the plugins can do, I'm fixing a few things like reducing opening up areas so they're less railroaded for the convenience of using activating events

Reviewing my fixes so far, I probably should have playtested from the start sooner. There is a lot of glaring errors I missed. Good thing not that many people play this.
