I still can't believe someone did this.
 
It's digital only so you can't resell it.

Also everyone is making fun of the digital code. That fact that is doesn't have a disc screams "avoid it all costs."

If any of the games I have on pre-order are digital codes only, I'll be returning them. But as far as I know they should be physical discs.

Preordering in general is dumb now. Like they companies only want people buying ahead of time so they can't decide not to buy the game after it comes out and they realize it either sucks, was injected with woke BS, it is filled with bugs, or it isn't at all what was advertised.

Well I don't want a game to sell out before I have a chance to get it. Plus they don't do that woke shit in Dragon Ball Z. The Halo and Godzilla games are remakes for the PS5 so I think I'm good there. Plus I am so far in advance I could easily cancel.

Also just was curious, each game I pre-ordered will have a physical disc. At least according to the search results I found.

Basically they should just do remakes, because the creativity just isn't there anymore.
 
I forgot you preorder. I just think it is dumb for most people. Like yes, they offer you content and stuff for preordering, they obviously want your money. In most cases it is a safety net for the studio like I said but they also do it to fund future projects for the game. Like in the case of Dragon Ball games, preorder sales likely fund them working on new content for the game a few months after release.

Yeah you can't expect people to be okay with this while they are pumping out mid to low-tier level gaming experiences. I know digital makes sense in terms of how massive some modern games are these days but you can move away from discs if need be. Or they can make the discs able to manage larger games. It isn't like tech is slowing down. There are plenty of ways to keep physical media in tact.

It's just about control, honestly. Streaming, digital only etc.

Also the service on streaming, live service games etc are just shitty services.

They like to be able to pull shows you are watching, bombard you with ads (I even know some people who paid to be ad free and still got ads), and charge you for the privilege of this horrible experience.
