Yeah I forgot about that. I wish people could get on the same page with stuff like this. If enough people boycotted the game, they would have to give us a physical option but people can't join together on anything anymore and stick with it. Even the looney leftists/woke types are attacking their own these days lol

Physical media acts as a protection for our spending and shows we have physical proof of purchase. I don't want to get to a place where a company can decide to ban people and they lose access to their gaming library because it is all digital.
 
I hear you sister. I'm anti streaming and anti digital only anything. But I am already not getting GTA so I can't help you, alas. But I understand what you mean.

If I get it it will be on Xbox so I don't have to worry about the Sony shenanigans.

Xbox tried this crap before back when they released the Xbox One and it backfired massively.

Well I just watch a video, apparently the 80 dollar version is incomplete. Looks like the 100 version is the full game. And that's becoming a heated discussion.

What I don't get, is why put out the 80 dollar version if you are going to restrict content. Just charge everyone 100 bucks for the full game and be done with it

They pay-walled content. The $80 one is meant to be a more affordable option if you don't care about cosmetics. Still it is blocking physical shops you can interact with as well as side missions and world events. This is all for single player by the way. I would imagine which version you buy will also impact the online end of the game.

We all know it was a "safety net" for complaints. Even though people are still complaining. A lot less are had they only released a $100 game.
