If it's any consolation, as somebody who couldn't even bother to watch all of GT, Pan herself was never a problem for me. I didn't like how it seemed like she never got to do anything in GT and everything looked like it just defaulted to Goku again, but Pan never annoyed or bothered me to my recollection.

It almost always defaults to Goku, unfortunately.

It's one of the reasons I loved the fight with Vegeta in the Saiyan Saga, because it's such a team effort to defeat Vegeta, which is such a breath of fresh air after the entirety of Dragon Ball being Goku defeats everyone. Of course, Gohan's victory against Cell was all the more sweeter for this too. Even Buu was a team effort, though quickly returning back to Goku as the main character did sting.

Absolutely. The Saiyan and Cell sagas also showed a lot from the other Z fighters....sacrifices were made to help prevent bad things from happening or to buy more time. Even though they were weaker, they gave it their all. Now it's just like...extra characters that they try to occasionally work in.

Man, the Boo Saga lacked so much...

SSJ3 Vegeta, a Canon Gogeta... SSJ2 Gotenks..... LOL.

This bothered me more than it probably should have. This bish couldn't do SSJ2 but then can do SSJ3. I guess by default he could do SSJ2, but they didn't really show it. I also did not like Goku's, "this next energy, comes from deep inside...push harder to find it" *inserts giggity*

I mean...all other SSJ transformations had some meaning...but now all of a sudden it's, "push harder to find it"? Maybe I need to watch the sub for that...

Regarding the topic at hand, was anyone else bothered by Goku becoming a child simply because he was traveling space with his grand daughter Pan in that state?

Bothered by it because of Pan? No, not really. If anything, Pan was more of a grown up than he was, anyway, and I don't see any other sort of implications with regards to their relationship with one another. Is it strange having her call a child Grandpa? Yeah, but that whole concept of him being a kid made as much sense as 90% of GT's storylines to begin with.

I mean...at least Goku knew that girls didn't have balls at that point...
