The answer is no... No it is not worth it.
I had entire teams spawn next to me and vice versa. The maps are too busy to the point where I can't even focus on anything. What they did to this franchise is sad and I don't know how anyone can pay for this.
Many people have this exact sentiment. Whether its PC, Xbox, PlayStation. Hell, i had this problem via PS4.
The menu in and of itself completely puts me off from the game entirely. I hate it. There is no reason it should be THIS complex.
This is the common complaint of MWII. So, whomever is behind the UI in MWII is doing this game. However, there are SOME improvements like the lobby screen. They put the old style username display.
The last game I played and enjoyed was Black Ops 2 and that was from 11 years ago. Ghosts I played and ended up returning. They did an update a week or so after launch and it ruined the game for me.
Ghost is trash. The last CoD game i enjoyed was Advanced Warfare but a lot of people ended up crying about it. Activision didn't learn. BO3 was the next game... BUT sold many units to greenlit BO4. Infinite Warfare bombed for the same reason, not learning. BO4...? Digital release? I'm ok, but the spawns make MWIII look like cakewalk.
I think I may as well give up hope on them ever fixing this busted franchise and hope they add Black Ops 2 or older games to the Game Pass. I will play those. None of these new ones. They suck.
Microsoft completed the acquisition of Activision, so expect [old] CoD games to go on Game Pass soon.
I played it a bit more a second time. It wasn't "as bad" but still, a lot of the modern mess of current CoD games is there. I managed to get a kill streak going which is rare for me cause I camp in FPS games lol
I got used to the game, and was able to get multiple games with killstreaks. I'm having some fun again, but that doesn't mean there aren't problems. Lag, spawns, frame skipping, hit detection, annnnd.... Skill Based Matchmaking (algorithm).
