I got over-dried nuggets with twice-fried fries. I ate the nugs cause I was starving but threw over half of the fries out. Bleh.
Definitely sounds like McDonald's. You just have to put up with garbage quality food now, because it's whoever they can get to turn up slopping out food. Shame.
They hire anyone who will work for them and I can bet you half the people who "work for them" don't work. They probably just sit on their phones half the shift. I have a feeling a few places around here will close. They can't keep the places staffed enough and they turn out this much garbage quality, people will stop going to them. Probably a good thing though. None of us should be eating the crap anyways lol
Agreed, totally. It's ridiculous, and it's not like their food is getting cheaper, just the opposite. The prices are going up, the quality is going down (come on Burger King, go back to the fries you had 15 years ago, they were amazing! These things today are...fucking awful. Same with your onion rings), it's a lose-lose for everyone, does make me want to eat at home more.
I stopped eating Burger King years ago. About to just give up on the others. You can pay slightly more and get better service and quality from a small local place. Screw these overpriced chains.
Oh absolutely, local places are SOOO much better. We've got one not far from here called Jims Burgers and Eggs, DELICIOUS! Their breakfast omelets are just insanely good and their lunch is about ten times better than the fast food crap. Pricier, but worth the quality.
They want like $8 to $10 for meals at McD's. If I go to one of the local burger places here, I can get a great burger, a side, and a shake for $12.
Yeah, same, it's worth the extra money for the better quality, because there's no question that McDonalds is crap. For all people rave about their food, it really does suck. Their fries have never been good, IMO, unless they're literally out of the fryer and into the container, otherwise they're horrible. I'd rather have fresh food, cooked well and tasting amazing. No frozen reheated crap.
