It is starting to look like, regardless of Nintendo losing this or not... This is going to spread. Big gaming corpos are going to get sue happy.

In this case, it is two massive companies :

Also, Nintendo continues to look like a POS company. Congrats Nintendo!

Sony is teaming with Palworld and they are also looking to start a card game too through Bushiroad.

Nintendo phucked up. They not only lost a lot of fans over this, they pushed Palworld makers to become direct competitors of one of their biggest franchises.

I am not defending Nintendo’s actions at all, but, to an extent, I can actually understand why they’re going after Palworld, considering Pokemon is the biggest franchise in the world, but the stops they’re pulling are far beyond disgusting, and frankly lack common sense.

Palworld is not a threat. They are filling a market gap. Everyone that loves Pokemon will still continue to buy Pokemon.

Nintendo is and has always been ignorantly greedy.

You’re probably right. The Pokémon franchise is most likely nigh untouchable in scope.

Nintendo is losing the fight. The Japanese courts are going the way of favor for the Palworld creators. They lost two patents now.
