I'll be honest with you guys because I hold nothing back from my friends here on the forum. Shihori is the more interesting character to me. She's more a complicated person in the grand scheme of things. Korian was designed to be the anchor of the series. He's seen his fair share of shit, but he remains reliably stable throughout. Shihori is my vision of a powerful female character. She's not a damsel in distress, she makes known her hopes, dreams and desires, and she curses like a sailor. She is my vision for positive reinforcement for the female audience. She's a person through and through. From toddler to adult we see her grow and we co-equally experience her stages of life along the way. From her first life challenges to experiencing romantic feelings for the first time. I do not shy away from letting people know that she is stronger for every failure and wiser for every triumph yet, she remains flawed like all people are as they walk through life. Thank you for enjoying this brief look into my overactive mindset. 
I have to agree, Shihori's really grown to become this full-fledged incredible character. I love what you've done with her!
It's like she knows what a little bad ass she is.
Totally, so confident in her abilities she loves the thought of surprising people by kicking their asses.
She is, but not to the point of being egotistical. She carries herself like an athlete who strives to learn better technique and push past her limits.
