Not bad, Hyundai's at least have those great warranties, so that's excellent!2014 Hyundai Sonata. Really great condition, 1 owner, never crashed, excellent service history. It was a good deal.
I always said "hi-un-da" though I don't know if that is right either lolNot bad, Hyundai's at least have those great warranties, so that's excellent!
(my only issue is Americans can't say Hyundai...I've no idea where they get Hunday from...makes no sense!)
Close, in Britain it's Hi-yun-dai(die), very much as it's spelled.I always said "hi-un-da" thought I don't know if that is right either lol
It is Japanese so it likely does end in "die". Damn Americans butchering the English language. lolClose, in Britain it's Hi-yun-dai(die), very much as it's spelled.
Well, South Korean, but yeah, it definitely seems most of the world slants towards the die side of the pronunciation, so that's what I've always gone with. That and I was somewhat brainwashed as a child with the old riddle "a Hyundai will leave you high and dry" (they used to be extremely unreliable, worse than a FIAT).It is Japanese so it likely does end in "die". Oh for fox sake, really? Why did I think it was Japanese? Probably because most people associate asian automobiles with Japan, since they make Toyota (+Lexus), Mitsubishi, Nissan (+Infinity), Subaru, etc. But yeah, Hyundai and Kia are both Korean, as did Daewoo used to be. They're certainly getting better in terms of engineering, that's for sure! The fact they back them with such good warranties is proof they're standing behind their vehicles.Oh for fox sake, really? And yeah I heard about that. They are some of the most reliable cars these days though. I read some people have Sonatas over 300k miles.
To be fair, I used to think Honda was the same as Hyundai LOLProbably because most people associate asian automobiles with Japan, since they make Toyota (+Lexus), Mitsubishi, Nissan (+Infinity), Subaru, etc. But yeah, Hyundai and Kia are both Korean, as did Daewoo used to be.
