-There's an active investigation ongoing tonight after 3 people were shot at a Phoenix home, a 19 year-old and two men in their 30s are in hospital tonight, with the 19 year-old being in stable condition and the two men in their 30s being listed as extremely critical. Police are still actively investigating the scene for a motive and urge all in the area to stay inside.
Police say officers were called to the area of 65th Avenue and Camelback Road around 6:45 p.m for reports of multiple people shot.

-An officer in Apache Junction was shot after a stolen vehicle led police officers on a prolonged car chase. The officer in question allegedly got very close to the stolen vehicle, resulting in an exchange of gunfire, resulting in one suspect and one officer shot. At this time one suspect is in custody and the other is in hospital being treated for gunshot wounds. The officer is out of surgery and in stable condition.
The incident happened just before 4 p.m. near Crismon Road and Main Street.

-Phoenix City Council has approved a motion to open more city parks, splash pads, basketball courts, volleyball courts and public pools in light of the downward trending Covid cases and rapidly growing number of vaccinated individuals. In hopes that this does not result in another covid spike, city council voted in favour of the openings and, starting March 17, these facilities will start to open up to the public once again.
Phoenix City Council voted Tuesday to reopen more amenities and city parks, including sports complexes, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and pools and splash pads, and to resume accepting reservations for sports practices, games, and tournaments.

-Chandler police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men from two groups that started fighting in the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall, during which time one man, a white male aged 18-21, removed a knife and started stabbing people in the other group of men. The remaining men from both groups fled and all three of the stabbing victims were taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Chandler police are asking for the public's help identifying three men involved in a stabbing at Chandler Fashion Center last week.
