Fun fact, Korian has never touched a drop of alcohol in his life. To him it brings only pain and bad memories since he grew up under an alcoholic Kitsune. Shihori on the other hand.......Ah, college...I get it!
More on that once Sips and I get there story wise. I'm going in chronological order and all you kids will be able to catch the major story beats without having to read novels worth of story. So far, Korian and Sorrel aren't even romantically involved. Just good friends going on an adventure...…..that went horribly wrong.Now that's some incredible character development

I would say hold off because I'm going to be posting changes to the first entry for sure. I've also touched base with a freelance editor to see if I can get any pointers because if anyone needs an editor it's Toriyama........and ME!That's my kind of story

Age 763, What began as an exciting adventure, quickly turned into a nightmare for them both. Even though he had the power of Super Saiyan at his disposal, Korian was easily taken down by Mira. A single blow that was meant to kill Sorrel. Now she's on the run for both their lives. Art by TwoSipsofBleach

I will pass along your gratitude to Sips for the artwork. He's a very humble guy so he'll appreciate it. As for Mira, it's on par right now for how strong he really is compared to his other depictions. I do have to scale him somewhat as the story goes on because if I believe he's never taken down an opponent that's been greater than SSJ3 level by himself. If anyone knows better please point it out because I would love to know. That being said, he's a malicious prick and I'm grateful to be able to utilize him as an antagonist. No conflicts with main line DB.
WIP for the next action scene during this chapter. Sorrel attacking Korian? Oh noooooo 
I'll give you the cliff notes version of what happened between the scenes. Sorrel managed to escape Mira on foot after falling into a ravine that lead to an underground cavern. The fall hurt. She happens upon Hopp and a few others in hiding from Towa and Mira. Korian is roughed up pretty bad and he needs medical attention. So Hopp suggests they free her people being held captive by the demons and the ones Towa corrupted using her magic. Sorrel pulls her best Shawshank Redemption impression and crawls through a sewer pipe to break into the holding facility. I'll leave it there for now.
While successful in her mission to free Hopp's people who were capable of saving Korian's life, Sorrel was captured by Towa and Mira in her escape attempt. Instead of killing her, Towa used her demonic powers to take control of her mind and use her as a weapon against Korian. Artwork by TwoSipsofBleach
Always a fan of the whole "we'll just float here all menacingly in the background" thing villains do.
Sorrel's appearance is a homage to the "Villainous form" of character's from Xenoverse. Literally, Towa uses her dark magic to corrupt any negativity in your heart and place you under her control. It also boosts the target's strength and ki akin to what happens when Babidi converts people into Majin. It doesn't work on gods or people who have god ki such as Goku. I thought it would be fun to include this little easter egg in the story.
