Last thing you ate?

Yeah, I hit a point at one time where I could sense them coming on and would take some juice or something to keep my sugars right, but occasionally they just drop out of nowhere and you find yourself in a haze and coming around to paramedics injecting you with glucose. Not fun. I do my best to avoid that, and I haven't had any serious lows in a good while now, but it's on my mind if I find it's been too long between meals. For the most part, though, eating once a day or maybe twice a day just sort of works for me. I can't force myself to eat if I don't want food, though, I'll either not eat it or throw it up later. Temperamental :D
I don't know how one goes about it, but it might be worth looking into getting a medical pup. They have trained ones that can sense these things for you and alert help too. I know some are covered on insurance as well. I considered getting one for my panic attack issues but I want to wait until we own a house to look into that, and I would prefer a cat if the option is there. lol

I've heard of dogs trained to sniff out low sugars, and it is something I might actually consider inquiring about, but I think with things the way they are right now with my mother, I'm going to wait on that a bit longer. Don't want to introduce another new animal to the mix while she barely remembers the ones we have, and I don't want her teaching it the wrong things! :D

Yeah that is true, that can be an issue. Well hopefully when you do decide, it is something you can get fully covered for you.

I certainly hope so, that would be amazing if it worked out. I like animals, and the thought of one that could actually help me detect when I'm heading for a crash before it happened would be fantastic! Insurance paying for the costs would be even better!

I had some left over Buffalo Wild Wings with a combination of Parmesan garlic and Medium sauces. They're struggling because of COVID. I got 15 regular and 15 boneless w/ fries for $30.
