DBF Community Chat Thread

My cat hates my dog, but my dog loves the cat (he's just overenthusiastically friendly). I used to have another cat that would actually play with the dog, so that was fun to watch.

Twig and Laredo were best friends. Twiggy actually never cared for cats, he liked big dogs. They would chase each other all over the house and Twig would fight him. He was not a small dog, I think he was about 120lbs.

This is Twig with the German Shepherd I had growing up, Laredo. He loved him.
He was so tiny. I miss him so much. He was such a brave kitten.

Oh wow, what a cutie! Looks a lot like one of mine as a kitten, Moto, she loved to hang around dogs several times her size and show them who was the boss. No fear! :)

Must be a thing for that coloration of cat. He never once got scared of a big dog, not even at the park. He would be scared of small dogs though which I never understood lol

Yeah, definitely, she wasn't scared of big dogs at all, she liked to boss them around. So agreed, it must be something about that particular type of cat.

I am probably torturing myself at this point but I wanted to draw him.

It has been a while since I drew something from picture references like this. I might keep adding details to it.
