So here's where we are in society now. A bus driver in France enforced the mask mandate while on his route and refused to let a group of 5 get onto his bus without masks. That bus driver is now brain dead in hospital after the beating they gave him for not letting them on his bus because they wouldn't wear masks. Fuck these people, beat them brainless in response, France. Bring back the guillotine.

I can say my patriotism is down to 0 now. Because of shitheads who don't think this pandemic is serious, cases have spiked again and other countries in Europe are considering closing their borders to us. We were having vacation next week in Hungary with 2 days trip to Austria and Slovenia. Austria will let us in only of we do self-quarantine for 14 days or bring a negative test. And the last part ain't so easy as it sounds.

I am of the general consensus that gender, color/race, language, or political view makes no difference if you are an asshole. People should be judged based on their character/actions and ignorance is a more troublesome pandemic than COVID.

I am convinced people's world views are in the trash and until the educational system is fixed, we will just see stupidity increase in number.

Oh yeah, my favorite part was my people's response to that. Either Austrians are being the idiotic ones, or it's all political, or they have something against us. Big oof! Why would people ever accept fault and learn from mistakes instead of constantly blaming everyone else?
