I tried that once, as well, the difference is quite staggering! Sentai blows Rangers right out of the water, IMO, but Power Rangers is life.
Agreed. I love me my Power Rangers (especially the comics they have recently), but Sentai is often darker, funnier, and often times, better written. I love how the kid who is White Ranger regularly grabs the Pink Rangers boobs and lifts up her skirt in Gosei Sentai Dairanger. I also like how much darker Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger is compare to MMPR. Yeah, the plots also get odd, which can be fun. I remember trying to keep track of one of the more recent Sentai series, and it changes from them being angels to being pirates and having to protect the world, but not wanting to...it was...all over the place...loved it.
Also revealing because he's saying Satan is a westerner. Meaning Videl is most likely half-Asian.
