We're supposed to be able to see the Aurora Australis too, but I don't know if I can where I am. Especially since there's nothing but rain this weekend. :pancry:

I guess we should be able to see the lights for another 2 or 3 nights. I think it will be too cloudy tonight but I will check. Want to get some pics with my actual camera instead of my phone.

Yeah I've been seeing many of pics like this. So what natural phenomenon is this?

That explains what it is. The reason we are able to see it all over is due to the solar flares happening on the sun. The radiation from it is causing more energy to be sent to the planet heating up the particles.

I see. I'm a little of an analphabetic astronomically, but is this being viewed in a clearer way than ever before due to the solar flares now or is that standard?

Pretty much, yeah. I believe the radiation the sun normally lets off causes it normally but I am not 100%. This has happened before. Just like eclipses. It is just something that doesn't happen very often. I think the last major flares we had were in the 1850s.

Finally got around to getting the garden ready. Me and Jay almost passed out LOL

Took a little over and hour to dig, move soil, and set up the fence thing to keep deer out. I need a nap now :wut:
