Sydney has a massive pride parade every year. But for the most part it's relatively normal. Melbourne is like that 24/7/365.
Everyone needs to learn from Japan. If you are going to do a parade, you keep your clothes on!

Lifting skirts too. Lots of pervy guys. It doesn't help that there are more men than women there either. At least that was the case. Not sure if it is now. They have an incel problem is what I am saying, lots of lonely men. Not the same sort we have here though in America. I think we have a simp problem more than anything lol
Yeah they're definitely trying to improve the birth-rate. A lot of Asia has a very very low birth-rate so they're doing their best to encourage it.
They work insane hours and then just spend all their time locked up in their room. It's a very poor culture in that regard.
It very much is an honour, respect, and shame culture. Which I mean, everyone could use more of, even if not to that extreme.
The work-life balance is not there. I hope that improves for them. I don't like that suicide is just a passive thing people have accepted there.
For what it's worth, I think they at least try to mitigate it. A lot of fences on their roofs...
It shouldn't be that way. It is sad. I know during the bank crash in China, they had to put nets to catch people jumping off buildings. Work is taken WAY too seriously for Asians.
This all to say Japan is still a beautiful, friendly, wonderful place that gets a lot right. If they can fix the issues mentioned, I don't think many other countries could compare.
As long as a country has people, it's always going to have a deep rooted problem.
Well we both know how flawed people are. Biting apples and what not. Some stuff can't be helped.
Like if cities in America were like the cities of Japan... I can't even imagine it. I know back in the day it was this way. Clean and mostly safe. I just can't see it in the modern world. Too many lost souls.
