Just found out about this. It will be on Hulu. I am not sure how to feel about this...
We will see. I mean the ending they did was good. The original cast is back at least and it won't be on Wokeflix. So basically a new season? Better than a sequel TV series, IMO.
And potentially without John Dimaggio.
Bender will still be in it regardless. I assume JDM is just using this as an opportunity to negotiate higher pay.
I'm just thankful Bender is back. That's all I ask for. LOL.Futurama is one of my favourite shows ever, but I'd say at best I'm cautiously optimistic about this. The Comedy Central season had some genuine highlights (Game of Tones & Meanwhile for example) but there were also several series low points (In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela stands out) and most of the episodes were just kind of meh. I'm not sure how much faith I have in this churning out consistently strong episodes, feels like they're just further diluting the series over quality. But I guess if we get anything as good as "Luck of the Fryish", I won't be complaining.
Have not watched it yet. I will report back when I do.Still not sure what to think. Like it was something, and it wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't have the feel of the original run.
There are, naturally, a lot of jokes at the expense of cancellations and reboots.Have not watched it yet. I will report back when I do.
It is better for it to be passively entertaining than a huge spit in the face of the original series I suppose.
