The Central Fire continues to grow, now totaling 4,517 acres and is at 0% contained. Keeping in mind this was first reported as a 100 acre fire on Saturday morning, that's some insane growth.

The Magnum Fire now stands at 69,277 acres with 28% contained, continuing it's growth while fire crews make slight progress on containment.

The Brigham fire has continued its' slow but steady growth as it now sits at 19,901 acres with 20% containment, this one has officially been declared as a natural / lightning caused fire.

The Bighorn fire has grown to 58,553 acres burned with 33% contained, slowing in growth, but still growing just the same.

Finally, the Bush fire has grown to a colossal 186,848 acres though fortunately is now at 61% contained. It just keeps on growing, but the fire crews are doing their damndest to get it out ASAP.

These aren't even all of the fires currently burning in AZ, but they add up to a total of 339,096 acres burning right now. A startling fact posted by the AZ forestry division today is that 2020 has seen more than 3x the amount of acreage burned than was seen in 2019 to date. THREE TIMES the acreage. Screw you, 2020.
